What this is

Familystrokes is an independently run adult streaming catalogue. Full-length videos and vertical shorts sit side by side, organised by category, by model, and by tag, with a search that covers all three. There is no app to install and no download to manage — everything plays in the browser, on a phone as readily as on a desktop.

Watching needs no account. A free account adds the parts that need to remember you: favourites, watch later, playlists you can keep private or share, following the models you care about, commenting, and private messages to other members.

How the 720p pipeline works

Every video that reaches the site is re-encoded by us rather than served as it arrived. When a file is uploaded it joins a processing queue and a worker picks it up:

• the source is probed for its real dimensions, duration, and orientation;
• it is transcoded to 720p H.264 video with stereo AAC audio — landscape clips are scaled to 720 lines, vertical shorts to 720 wide, always with even dimensions;
• the MP4 index is moved to the front of the file, so playback starts as soon as the first bytes arrive instead of after the whole file downloads;
• a site watermark can be burned in during that same pass;
• frames are extracted for the poster image and the animated hover preview on the thumbnail;
• a sprite sheet and a WebVTT track are generated so scrubbing the seek bar shows real frames;
• the finished files land on a storage server, and the video becomes publishable.

One consistent 720p rendition is a deliberate choice. It plays on old phones and slow connections without a stack of adaptive variants, it keeps storage honest, and it means the picture you get on a five-year-old handset is the picture we tested. Media is served through signed links that expire, which is why a copied video URL stops working shortly after you copy it.

How uploads are reviewed

Nothing publishes itself. Encoding produces a video in a pending state that only staff can see, and a person has to review it in the admin panel before it becomes visible. That review covers the paperwork — the age documentation and releases described in the §2257 statement — and the metadata: title, description, categories, models, and tags, so the catalogue stays searchable rather than keyword-stuffed. A reviewed video can be published immediately or scheduled for a later date, and it can be pulled back out of publication at any time.

Once live, everything can still be reported. Reports go into a moderation queue with a status attached, and copyright or consent complaints are actioned ahead of everything else.

Comments

Comments are open to members and carry one hard rule: no links. Any comment containing a URL or a bare domain is rejected as it is submitted. It is a blunt instrument, and it is the reason the comment sections here are not full of referral spam.

Advertising

The site is funded by advertising. Creatives are uploaded and hosted by us and served from our own media path, so no ad network is watching which pages you open — a rarity in this corner of the web, and the reason the privacy policy can be as short as it is.
